Deon’s unique combination of strategic insight and design expertise sets her apart in the field. Whether refreshing intranet platforms, producing multimedia campaigns, or creating branded content, she ensures communications are not only insightful but also deliver high-quality, visually engaging content. Her portfolio spans newsletters, infographics, animations, executive presentations, and corporate videos designed to elevate messaging and drive engagement.

She leans on her experience working in matrixed organizations to navigate complex structures and deliver communication strategies that connect cross-functional teams. In her career, she has supported a global workforce of over 116,000 employees. Her experience includes managing multi-channel campaigns, partnering with executives and other senior leaders, and creating tailored messaging to meet diverse stakeholder needs.

Beyond design and strategy, Deon has led key initiatives, including corporate merger communications, DE&I program launches, and change management efforts during a reduction in force. She has served on the leadership board for diversity councils as well as employee engagement groups. She is known for her creative approach to communications and engagement and fostering collaboration that enhances workplace culture.  

Deon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Georgia State University.
